Accordion Online Academy
are committed to creating a positive learning and teaching environment for its students and staff. For this reason, it is important that all students and parents understand and abide by the studio policies as outlined below.
Accordion Online Academy accept music students of all ages and abilities based on availability year-round. New students may book a FREE Trial Online lesson with the Accordion Teacher of their choice at www.AccordionOnlineAcademy.com
Every single Online Lesson is Recorded. The most important parts from the lesson will be uploaded to your personal Parent/Student's portal account of Accordion Online Academy. It was found extremely helpful to all of our Online Students in achieving our practicing goals and speeding up your progress.
Invoices and Payments
Monthly Lesson payments are due by the 28th of each month prior to lessons being given. For example, September lesson payments are due by Aug 28th; October lesson payments are due September 28th, etc. The number of lessons billed is based solely on the number of lessons for your given day in the next month. (e.g., if your lesson day is Monday and there are four Mondays in a month, you will be billed for four lessons; if there are five Mondays in the month, you will be billed for five). Invoice will be emailed automatically to you between 20th and 23rd every month. You can pay it in a few clicks from the Invoice page by clicking "Click here to Pay online" If you want to make a payment later than 28th of each month, please pick your date and inform us about it by email at admin@accordiononlineacademy.com
Benefits for advanced payments program
Option A:
If you prefer to pay 3 months for the Lessons in advance (for example...January, February and March), you will receive 1 week FREE lesson/s in the month of April. Students can pick any 3 months in a row during the calendar year.
Option B:
If you prefer to pay 6 months for the Lessons in advance (for example...January 1st to June 30st), you will receive 3 weeks FREE lesson/s in the month of July or August, depends on the Summer Break. Students can pick any 3 months in a row during the calendar year.
Holidays will not be charged and will not be calculated.
Please email us at admin@accordiononlineacademy.com every time you want to use one of these benefits anytime of the year.
New students pay a $25 registration fee. Families registering a second student will owe a $15 fee with no fee required for the third student. Registration is always ongoing.
Accordion Online Academy accept payments via PayPal (preferred). You can use your Credit Card and pay via PayPal without having a PayPal Account. The link will be sent in your Invoice.
Cancellation, Lesson Credit and Video Lesson
Starting from January 01st, 2020
There are some changes about our cancellation policy. Please read it carefully.
We are so proud to say that our lessons cancellation rate is very low. Consistency and commitment are the keys to developing and mastering any pursuit, including music. Therefore, students are encouraged to attend every lesson in order to advance their skills. If You or your student must miss a lesson, we ask you to cancel the lesson online by logging in to your Parent/Student's portal account minimum of 24 hours in advance of the lesson day and time that will be missed. The lessons credit will be automatically issued (for example if you take only one lesson per week you can have a maximum of 4 credits per calendar year). If you take 2 lessons per week, you will have 8 credits, if you take 3 lessons per week you will have 12 credits for the entire calendar year.
If You or your student must miss a lesson at the last minute or less than 24 hour notice, we still ask you to cancel the lesson online by logging in to your Parent/Student's portal of the lesson day and time that will be missed. Just click "Cancel". The Credit will not be issued, but the Video Lesson will be recorded specifically for you with all details necessary for your successful practice. All video lessons will be uploaded next day until 12pm, EST. You can access all your video lessons by logging in to your Parent/Student's portal and click on "Online Resources". Every single teacher will wait online for the student no longer than 15min. The credit will not be issued to the student who didn't show up on time and didn't cancel the lesson online or sent us an email.
Even if you cancel your lesson/s 24 hours in advance, you can request a video lesson/s, just make a note on cancellation page. You will receive a Video lesson Next Day. The credit in this case will not be recorded on Your Account.
All paid and unused lessons/credits expire after 6 months from the last lesson student participated.
If your teacher is absent, a credit will be issued on your account automatically. Students will not be charged for holidays or teacher absences. If student/guardian wants to cancel lessons permanently, for any reason, just email us at admin@accordiononlineacademy.com Student/guardian needs to cancel Accordion lessons at least 30 days ahead. If student/guardian cancels lessons permanently in less than 30 days, there is no refund for any remain prepaid lessons. There are some exaptions in very specific situations.
Accordion Online Academy holidays are listed below:
-Winter Break (in December or January), we will inform you on time
-January 7th, Orthodox Christmas
-Memorial Day,
-Summer Break for 6 or more weeks (in June, July or August), we will inform you on time.
-July 4th,
-Labor Day
-Thanksgiving Day
-December 19th
-December 25th, Christmas
-New Years Day, Dec 31st
